Well, in the wake of the breaking of 2018, the whole Logan Paul suicide forest thing blew UP on twitter. As someone who simply canNot stand not giving my opinion and making things right, here are my thoughts.

First of all, I've never had actual suicidal thoughts, so I can't speak from the perspective of someone who has experienced it and is particularly sensitive about this. Also, I didn't actually watch the video, so everything I've seen is secondhand (from twitter) and his apologies.

I do believe what Logan Paul did was wrong. I mean, who doesn't? I don't disagree that what he did was very inappropriate and insensitive to those who are actually dealing with these types of issues. 

With that said, hear me out. I also think he might have actually had good intentions about raising suicide awareness. I myself am terrible at expressing my thought processes through words. Or actions. I have always been terrible at writing out what I know and talking and describing thoughts and emotions and what goes through my brain everyday. And for instance, this post. I have my opinions, but I'm unable to adequately express what I'm actually thinking. So even if I have the BEST of intentions, sometimes with my inability to express something important makes it seem like it's a much smaller thing than it is. As someone who's very bad at expressing themselves in words, I can understand what he was trying to do.

I think this is partially what he was trying to do. He was trying to raise awareness, but by going about it the wrong way. He tried to make a video, but he went about the wrong way. Very wrong. (I've seen that he did demonitize the video from the start, which also supports that he was actually in fact not to gain from it)

Now, as for his response (the laughing and the thumbnail and all that), I really can't say. This is where the super inappropriate and insensitive part is at. At no point in time should one ever, EVER see a body and then be laughing at it within its proximity. However, he also did not expect TO SEE a dead body while walking in the, albeit "haunted," woods. That may just be a normal reaction (aka a reaction where he really just didn't know how to react), and he wanted to document that segment of his life, as he does all the other parts of his life. So he filmed it. Whether or not he should have posted that is debatable, but the fact remains that he did.

Now for his apologies, I do think part of that is the hate, and part of that is genuine. He definitely did take it down because of the vehement response, and a lot of his apologies was directed towards the "hate." (Although, that is a natural reaction when one has millions of viewers on YouTube). But I also think that he is sorry for what he's done. And I think that even if he's sorry, we should forgive him. Because God's already forgiven him, and so should we. We have all done stupid things that we didn't think through, and by the grace of God, we are forgiven, and I think he should be forgive too by us and by the rest of the internet™.

About the Evolution of the Reaction of The Public Schooled Specimen of Human Beings to Homeschoolings

So... I wrote this as a comment on someone's blog and thought it was absolute gold, so here, enjoy it. (Also I need to keep it somewhere so I can c/p for future reference)

As the (overly specific) title says, here is the reactions of public schooled persons when I tell you that I'm homeschooled.

Never before have I written so long a letter. I'm afraid it is much too long to take your precious time. I can assure you that it would have been much shorter if I had been writing from a comfortable desk, but what else can one do when he is alone in a narrow jail cell, other than write long letters, think long thoughts and pray long prayers?

Musician's life
