About the Evolution of the Reaction of The Public Schooled Specimen of Human Beings to Homeschoolings

So... I wrote this as a comment on someone's blog and thought it was absolute gold, so here, enjoy it. (Also I need to keep it somewhere so I can c/p for future reference)

As the (overly specific) title says, here is the reactions of public schooled persons when I tell you that I'm homeschooled.

"What school do you go to?" "Oh, I'm homeschooled" "?!?!?!? PEOPLE DO THIS BUT LIKE ARE YOU LIKE SOCIAL AND CAN YOU TALK ENGLISH AND DO YOU DO SCHOOL IN YOUR PAJAMAS AND DO YOU HAVE FRIENDS AND WUT ?!?!?!!" <---high school

Yeah, basically.

Christian textbooks

Abeka History textbook be like

"Islam- a fanatical militant new religion that sprang from the fervid imagination of an Arab mystic named Muhammad"

Yup, not biased.

At all.

Tuesday, September 14th.

I had an assignment

due on Tuesday, September 14th

Yesterday was Tuesday, September 13th

Today is Wednesday, September 14th

So when am I supposed to turn this in?

Getting accepted into math

AP Calc BC

Is that a thing to be glad about or not?

Um this is annoying and awkward but...

Okay. 

So I'm back.

We went to visit family and stuff and I just got an extended break from the internet

We got home like 2 weeks ago

(It's closer to 1)

But....

2 days after we got home

My computer died.

So I can't really blog

Which is kinda a problem

For a hardcore blogger (hah!)

Like me

But that's another excuse

(Kinda of)

As to why I'm not blogging

And school has to end still too

And I get to read

And Music

And Life

And swim

and stuffs

Yey!

I'm excited.

What about this school work though?

No more AP tests

No more SAT tests

No more end-of-year projects

No finals

No math....wait no, I have 31 lessons of math left to do. Never mind then.

"Do you know what I did last week?" she began. "I want some jelly," said Ramona "You mean, 'Please pass the jelly,' "corrected Mother while Beezus waited patiently. 'No, what did you do last week?" asked Aunt Beatrice. "Well, last week I-" Beezus began again. " like purple jelly better then red jelly," said Ramona. ' Ramona , stop interrupting your sister," said Father. "Well, I do like purple jelly better then red jelly," insisted Ramona."Never mind," said Mother. "Go no, Beezus." Last week-" said Beezus, looking at her aunt, who smiled as if she understood."Excuse me, Beezus," Mother cut in. "Ramona, we do not put jelly on our mashed potatoes." "I like jelly on my mashed potatoes."Ramona stirred potato and jelly around with her fork. "Ramona you heard what your mother said." Father looked stern. "If I can put butter on my mashed potatoes, why can't I put jelly? I put butter and jelly on toast," said Ramona. Father couldn't help laughing. "That's a hard question to answer." "But Mother-" Beezus began."I like jelly on my mashed potateos," interrupted Ramona, looking sulky.”

I've been WAITING to be able to use this FOREVER....

and...
Ramona could not understand why grown-ups always talked about how quickly children grew up. Ramona thought growing up was the slowest thing there was, slower even than waiting for Christmas to come.

She had been waiting years just to get to kindergarten, and the last half hour was the slowest part of all 

She's able to put into words so many feelings that I've had ever since childhood...and is one of my favorite authors of all time.

It's funny...March 31st didn't evoke this sort of panic from me, April 1st/2nd did. Funny how the mind works.

they give me all my deadlines within one week, the week of SciOly States. How nice of them.

My History notes

just pulled a disappearing act. What to do?

So frustrated with my sleep schedule

When I get up early, I'm too tired to get up, so I go back to bed then wake up too late (or so I feel) to be productive. I'm also too lazy to go to bed early.....ugg help here please?

Well that was tiring....

• 5.55 AM Get up.
• 7.38 Start Biology lab that's due at 8.30
• 7.46 Shower
• 8.05 Finish my bio homework that's due at 8.30
• 8.13 Leave. No time for breakfast...breakfast in the car.
• 8.27 Arrive.
• 12.30 Lunch at school
• 1.00 Arrive at home, unload groceries.
• 1.17 Leave for 4H
• 1.42 Arrive at 4H
• 2.45 Go on a 3.5 mile hike.
• 4.50 Babysitting
• 7.11 Arrive home

That's the life

Biology out on the deck with 65 degree sunny weather. Yummy.
