When your yarn runs out

When you're knitting a pair of socks

and have knitted the first one

and am finishing up the second one

but your yarn runs out right before you do the toe

What to do?

Don't want to get a new skein to use 3 feet of

Man.

There is something extremely satisfying

about knitting something and finishing up just as the ball of yarn runs out.
