One Year

Well, folks.

It's been one year

The anniversary slipped by without my notice

I've been slacking on posting

I still enjoy this blog

But it may not continue for longer

I don't know

I like twitter better

We shall see.

I have more pageviews on this blog than my real blog

Ugh I Have to Blog

I'm now like at least 3 posts behind

I hate restricting myself like this

But if I don't, then I don't get anything done.

UGHHH

(and I also haven't done Bible Reading for almost 3 months, for the same reasons)

Um this is annoying and awkward but...

Okay. 

So I'm back.

We went to visit family and stuff and I just got an extended break from the internet

We got home like 2 weeks ago

(It's closer to 1)

But....

2 days after we got home

My computer died.

So I can't really blog

Which is kinda a problem

For a hardcore blogger (hah!)

Like me

But that's another excuse

(Kinda of)

As to why I'm not blogging

And school has to end still too

The frustration of wanting to choose a new blog design but not being able to decide.

Perfectly timed blogpost

there is something amazing about reading a perfectly timed blogpost

it doesn't occur often

at all

but when it does happen, it's AWESOMESZZZ

(and yes, I'm procrastinating again.)

Camp NaNo

I'm doing Camp NaNo this session.

It seems literally stupid.

Like why, self, do you think it's a good idea to take on writing on top of a mountain of homework and school and SciOly and stuff?

Well...I don't have blogposts to tide me through June, which is when I can officially start writing. That's why.

I utilize Camp NaNos to prewrite blogposts for my blog...not writing fiction or anything, but it's a good way for me to write and stock up on blogposts so that I can post regularly, and not get bogged down because of a lot of work or whatever.

But. Update.

No, I'm not procrastinating right now. Why do you ask?

Things I learned from decorating Easter eggs.

Don't wipe your white-paint laden hands on black yoga pants. Bad idea.

Color code. Pink+green+yellow+gold+bronze+white+black+brown don't go together.

Painting with a toothpick is much easier and much more tedious than it sounds.

Blowing eggs takes the orbicularis oris muscle (aka mouth) of trumpet players, not flute/bassoon players...it's legitly hard work. 

Drawing on round stuff is hard. 

Don't use different colored Sharpies and expect the colors to be the same.
Taking pictures for a DIY blogpost on spring-y colored wrapping paper is BOMB. Example, since the post won't be up for another year-

I have a dream

or rather, HAD a dream, that I had something happen to me that was so hilariously interesting that I posted about it on my blog. Woke up to find that it twasn't so.

The beginnings

Or, rather, the continuation of Happy Little Thoughts, which I have had for 2 years. Having found that Weebly isn't a good platform for me to write a blog on (It's just too clunky for a blog; the website in and of itself is great, but the blog platform isn't), but finding that I will need a blog to write informally, unlike my Wordpress blog, I've decided to use Blogger as my platform. I didn't get very good results last time I tried, but we'll see.

On a sidenote, this is my 4th blog and counting!
