Things I learned from the PSAT

Took the PSAT today...'twas pretty interesting.

Things I learned from the PSAT-

• Herminia's mother is fiercely proud of her poetry
• Fredrick Douglass hates 4th of July
• Dogs are sophisticated
• Wolf pups won’t look me in the eye
• Spanish moss is neither Spanish nor moss
• The pens are tilapia, everything is tilapia
• Big nose horn face

• I like fossils

• Some people are actually rich enough to spend ~$50 on cookies and water for lunch.

• Flash in the pan
• Thad
• DELETE the underlined portion

(I didn't come up with these myself, they've been floating around the internet)

Also, the test rules didn't say anything talking about the stuff on the projects, just the problems...so...

Well that was tiring....

• 5.55 AM Get up.
• 7.38 Start Biology lab that's due at 8.30
• 7.46 Shower
• 8.05 Finish my bio homework that's due at 8.30
• 8.13 Leave. No time for breakfast...breakfast in the car.
• 8.27 Arrive.
• 12.30 Lunch at school
• 1.00 Arrive at home, unload groceries.
• 1.17 Leave for 4H
• 1.42 Arrive at 4H
• 2.45 Go on a 3.5 mile hike.
• 4.50 Babysitting
• 7.11 Arrive home

You know you've done too many fossils when...

you see a picture of an elephant and your subconscious mind tries to place the genus.

To squeeze or not to squeeze

So we use this kind of squeezy fluoride rinse-

There's a little container thing that you squeeze the rinse into to make sure you only use the right amount....and that's always the highlight of the night routine.

To squeeze after you've rinse already for tomorrow, or not to squeeze so that you can squeeze tomorrow....that is the question.

Finally found my type of music.

I couldn't find music that I liked for the longest time. Everyone kept asking me which kind of music I liked to listen too...and I always answered CCM, which I only sorta liked.

Pandora gave me my answer- when I started a Julie Andrews playlist....I've only had to skip about one song- everything else has been FABULOUS- 4/5 Sound of Music songs, 2 Mary Poppins songs, and Over the Rainbow, and many more that I LOVE.

So much rain

My poor tomatoes are drowning.

Wrong decision

to paint my toes hot pink all summer while the only pair of flip-flops (AKA the only pair of shoes) I wear all summer is orange.
