Hoarding milk?!

Apparently all the people in this crazy state hoard milk when they hear the words "possible snow". Two friends both sent us a picture of an empty milk shelf....at the same spot in the same store.

    I never see the point of this bc what if the power goes out for a very long time. Wouldn't your milk get bad in the fridge.....
