This year, I have Chem Lab, Cell Bio, and
IMSOMADIMSOMADICANTEVEN ITS NOT FUNNY IKNOWITISBUTDONTLAUGH
You had me help with the fossils binder last year with the promise that I could do it THIS year because you had people who could do it last year....WHY?! NUUUUUU It's always nice to know I wasted like 20 hours of my life...UGH.
Also...so Mr. C decided that apparently I'm really really good at lab events/study lab events...my third year of SciOly, because (probably) of my single digit placing last year at nats...seriously? After 2 years of building..you decide that I'm good at study stuff. Thanks. I know I can't blame you..how could you have known, but...hhrmph.
I don't even KNOW my partners for Cell Bio and Chem Lab! I haven't even talked to them, ever, for goodness' sake. And what? They can't study until January? WHAT?!
Every year, I'm always SO mad about my events...but slowly grow to love them as the year wears on.
<OOH, I know what I can do! I can revisit last year's post and see what the difference is between then and now!>
*copies and pastes*
I have CJAP, Bottle Rockets, and Air Trajectory.
The one and only one I want to do is not one of them. :I I seriously JOINED Science Olympiad this year for that event!!! Mmm...well it's kinda the same way with this year. I survived last year, so I'll probably also survive this year.
Steaming at my coach. CJAP's alright I guess. It certainly was! I loved every moment of it. I told him I didn't want to do building unless no one else wanted to do it. Apparently no one else did, and he stuck me with 2. :/ My little brother's stuck with 3 building events. How my brother gets to have more events then I do is something I don't get. :/ The building event count for our family is 5. O_O Only the rule is that it's at least one per family. Gaah. Why doesn't he just give us like 2, one per kid? I ended up LOVING bottle rockets (and failing miserably at nationals...seriously, our state time would have gotten us in the top 10..but we got worse than 30th!)....and also loving Air T...but also being really really frustrated at the end.
This was just an extremely long post/rant about Science Olympiad and my coach in particular. :/ I don't blame ya'.
Note to Mr. C., if you ever read this- I am not ranting AT you, I'm just ranting because I want to. :D
Also, on a sidenote, I have a long short story due in <24 hours, and I haven't started it yet. That's submitted. I got a good grade. I remember.
On a sidenote on a sidenote, I have a hole in my mouth. That's healed.
The moral of the story is- Don't mess with me right now. I think you can now.
